Business plans showing a substantial investment over the the next five years. To improve the overall experience for anglers and visitors alike.
Wintersett is an exclusive Silver membership.
It is a large 105 acre, very well-established lake that contains a good head of quality carp up to 35lb in weight. There are currently around 50 available fishing swims on Wintersett giving anglers plenty of space between swims.
We have plans to improve pegs and reinstating access tracks all around the lake. We plan to create an ample access track all the way down the field side. Then a further new track off Ryhill Pitts Lane / Station road to improve access to swims in the Pit Side Woods.
We have a stocking program in place from our CEFAS registered fish farm, from great English genetics, with proven growth rates.
All work and stockings will be documented and uploaded to our social media pages.
Cold Hiendley is a beautiful natural water that lends itself perfectly to being a specimen carp water. At 28 acres, it’s a great size with each angler still commanding a very respectable amount of water. The lake is currently unmanaged and overgrown but with a little work will be developed into one of the most desirable day ticket carp waters in the UK. There is already an incredible stock of fish to 27lb plus. With a large 5 year stocking program in place and a supplementary feeding program throughout the year, we expect these fish to do big things in a short space of time.
With plans to improve pegs and access all around the lake, we plan to reinstating a car park by the bottom of the Wintersett dam wall giving easy access to the lake (Haw Park Woods side) then reinstating a car park at the bottom of the grounds adjacent to Cold Hiendley Common Lane, enabling easier access to the far side of the lake.

Botany Bay is a three acre water with primary woodland on three sides, It has various fish species already stocked in good numbers and lends itself well to being a pleasure fishery/Intermediate water. Botany Bay could cater well for short sessions with family or for anyone getting into fishing that hasn’t yet got the confidence to fish the larger waters.
With plans to improve pegs and access with a bridge over the stream at the far side, enabling access to all around the lake. We plan to create access from a new car park by the Wintersett field, then a reinstating a car park car park on the Wintersett grounds enabling easier access down the East side of the lake.
